MECCA MOBILE PROJECT STUDIO (2002-2023)

  From 1997-1999, I ran Radon Studio in North Carolina, but closed it down to spend the next years touring.  During a pause in Portland, Oregon, I began MECCA Mobile studio, to facilitate recording projects while traveling. MECCA has had periods of one to two years in physical locations including Nashville, Xi’An China, and most recently Dallas.  With my mobile set up, I have recorded on 6 continents and partnered with studio and engineers around the world.

  For the past year in Dallas, the studio has been focused on hip hop/rap music, doing production under the name “Electroshockandawe”. I recorded, published and promoted many local artists from a neighborhood in south Dallas as a part of a project called  ”CF Hawn”, named for a freeway that runs through the area. 

  For the next months, the studio will be here in Little Rock, Arkansas.

  I am focused on recording rap artists who might not otherwise have the opportunity to get their music properly recorded, and am able to keep the process very cheap by making high quality recordings, with minimal equipment and low expenses. 

  Along with my various partners, we can offer complete beginning to end services to have your music ready to release and promote.  From beat making to recording, mixing, and mastering.  I can film edit and make online presentations for music videos, create publicity materials and physical merchandise, and even publish your music to all major platforms including Apple Music, Spotify, and Youtube.

  All fees are based on an individual consultation, and depending on the number of services, the amount of time, and your ability to pay, you will be given a quote for a very fair price.

 

 BEAT MAKING

Based on your input, I can create original beats for albums, or customized for live performance, with the option to own the beat without copyright obligations.

 

RECORDING/MIXING

I can bring my portable set to record in your home, or any suitable location.  I use a good quality condenser mix and various computer plug ins that can achieve most any vocal sound you are looking for.

 

MASTERING

I can master our session, or any of your own recordings.  I use a software based system, that produces high quality sound, at a fraction of the price charged by conventional studios.

 

VIDEOS:

I have a 4k camera and a simple lighting set up for music videos, promotional clips or any other video needs and you can sit in on the editing process.

 

PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS AND ARTWORK:

I can do your cover artwork, posters, plus physical and inline promotional designs.

 

OWN AND PUBLISH YOUR MUSIC

Through our own publishing arrangement, you can set up your ownership of the music you make, and have it available on all of the major platforms.

 

MERCHANDISE

I do unique, limited edition packaging for selling digital copies of your release, as well as t-shirts and other items.
